After 45 years in the accommodation game I now view the world through a different lens to most people. There are a lot of people that do Tourism - I've always chosen to focus on the Hospitality side.

I see a world full of people who require a true break in a natural and simple environment. Beautiful gardens and a comfortable chair are all you need to rest and reset. My idea is to take life down to simple denominators: beach, bush and a clean bed with wind rustling through the trees.

The Holiday Village has been built on thoughtfulness, trust and kindness. Our guests comment on how they are able to take a deep breath and relax into feeling calm – away from the daily busyness of life. The Island and Holiday Village will give you a chance to tap into these feelings.

In truth, I wish to appeal to a niche market who wish to experience a smoke-free, low alcohol environment and a break from their “de-vices”. If nature noises aren’t enough and you need your own music, please bring a headset to enjoy (as we prefer the sounds of nature). We have room for up to 36 guests. We are a budget boutique “upmarket 2 star” product.

About us

Accomodations

Please note we are an adult only accomodation.

However, we do welcome children under 18 in the school holidays.
After many years of hospitality, we find this is the formula that works.

Enjoy your stay on Great Keppel Island in your choice of accomodation. We have an Self-contained Cottage, Cabins with ensuite, Decked Glamping Tents and Basic Single/Double Rooms.

We provide a well equipped central kitchen for all accomodations. Glamping Tents and Rooms share bathroom amenities, whilst Cabins and Cottage have private amenities.

Our main activity is simply hanging out...

For those that want to get active!
There is GKI Boat Hire, Snorkelling, Kayaking, Stand Up Paddleboarding, and hundreds of acres for bush walking and 17 beaches to discover.
Keep in mind one of the greatest things about Great Keppel Island is that is supports doing "NO-THING!"

We hire snorkelling equipment at $25 to day guests, however all Village guests are provided this for FREE daily.
